Introducing the 1845 - possibly the most traditional Cheshire you will find. Based on a recipe written in 1845, Hugo Bourne has brought this special cheese back exclusively for the Channel 5 TV show 'Britain's Most Scenic Counties: Cheshire'.
A clothbound cheese that is aged in the Farmhouse cellar. Going back in time, we make this cheese using very traditional methods & ingredients as close to the old days as we can.
A creamier & saltier Cheshire than those you can find today, it will be an experience of the senses from the moment you open the wrap all the way through to the delicate & sweet after taste.
Hugo took a chance on bringing the 1845 back, our guests on the TV show seemed to approve, but will you?
